Warehouse Shift Operations Manager – Inventory TeamYou will oversee the efficient operations of our new warehouse facilities. The role includes team management, site operations, productivity improvement, resource allocation, ensuring efficiency and compliance, talent development, promotion readiness, and performance evaluation.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and coordinate end-to-end shift operations within the fulfillment center, ensuring seamless execution of receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping activities.
- Lead a team of shift supervisors and warehouse associates to achieve performance targets in productivity, accuracy, and on-time order fulfillment.
- Monitor real-time operational KPIs such as order accuracy, shift throughput, and dock utilization; identify and resolve bottlenecks promptly.
- Implement and sustain continuous improvement initiatives aligned with ’s operational excellence standards (Lean / Kaizen / 5S).
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, conducting regular shift audits and safety briefings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Inventory Control, Planning, Transportation, HR) to maintain smooth shift transitions and consistent operational flow.
- Manage labour allocation and resource planning across shifts to meet daily volume fluctuations.
- Train, coach, and develop team members to enhance performance, build engagement, and promote internal talent development.
- Ensure compliance with warehouse SOPs, WMS processes, and ’s quality and service standards.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or fulfillment centre operations, preferably in an e‑commerce or fast-moving consumer goods environment.
- Experience in Inventory is desirable.
- Proven track record in leading large teams in a shift-based operation.
- Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and operational reporting tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; capable of making quick, data-driven decisions under pressure.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, as required by operational demands.
