Are you organised and reliable, with a willingness to support operations—including occasional van driving duties?

GXO is recruiting a Warehouse Operative / Storekeeper to support our SGN contract in Milton Keynes
, ensuring engineers have the materials they need to keep essential services running. SGN delivers natural and green gas to millions of homes and businesses across the UK.

Some travel between sites will be required for stock movements and stock takes, with a company vehicle provided.

This is a full-time, permanent role working Monday to Friday covering the hours between 08:00 and 16:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
  • Respond to engineer requests, issuing materials accurately and on time
  • Pick and prepare orders for collections and operational needs
  • Receive deliveries, checking and recording stock within the system
  • Manage and segregate waste in line with company processes
  • Monitor stock levels, reporting discrepancies or low stock
  • Support stock takes, including occasional work at other sites
What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Previous experience in warehousing, stores, or logistics
  • Knowledge of safe manual handling and warehouse safety practices
  • Understanding of stock control and basic inventory systems
  • Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach
  • Good organisational skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Confident communication with engineers and depot colleagues
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally to other sites using a company vehicle
