£30,200 – £31,300 (including shift allowance, DOE)

Weekly rotating shifts - Mon – Fri, 40 Hours per week

Week 1: 6am – 2pm

Week 2: 2pm – 10pm

Week 3: 10pm – 6am (Winter Sun‑Thu / Summer Mon‑Thu)

To ensure the safe loading and unloading of bagged/packaged stock as required by loading and unloading documentation. Accurate picking of bagged goods in line with customer orders and to maintain a hygienic and tidy warehouse.

• Valid forklift licence is essential for this position
• Experience of working in an operational environment and with diverse teams, dealing with internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills
• Technical aptitude
  :
  Basic technical and fault‑finding abilities to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
• Numeracy and literacy
  : A solid foundation in numeracy and literacy to ensure clear communication and accurate data handling.
• Computer proficiency
  :
  Familiarity with essential software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Monitor physical quality of bagged/packaged items and ensure they are stored properly; report or react to non‑compliances as directed.
• Maintain effective communication with Shift Manager, warehouse Lead Op, all operations staff, weighbridge operator and CSD team.
• Monitor delivery/collection vehicles and personnel as regards company requirements.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed in accordance with legislative and management requirements.
• Ensure correct stock rotation and stock control
  .
• Always maintain a high standard of hygiene and housekeeping in the warehouse and loading lane.
• Racking control
  : ensure any damaged racking is reported.
• Fleet management
  : with new electric trucks in transition, ensure quality checks to the highest standard.
