Repair Operative

Pertemps is currently recruiting a Repair Operative to work at one of Royal Mail's busy mail processing centres. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established organisation in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with flexible shifts and competitive pay.

• Pick, pack, weigh, and label products based on daily orders.
• Ensure all packages are properly packaged and sealed.
• Meet the specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.
• Log relevant shipping, order, and label paperwork.
• Select and package products for shipment based on customer orders.
• Use technology, including smartphones and handheld devices, to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Handle, install, position, and move materials to optimise inventory and meet customer orders.
• Compare invoices to items received to ensure that incoming shipments are correct.
• Keep products separated, organised, and in good rotation.
• Follow safety protocols and report problems to mitigate safety issues.

• Good level of physical fitness – this is a hands‑on, active role.
• Attention to detail and strong work ethic.
• Flexibility to work weekends and additional shifts.
• Must pass a criminal background check (DBS) before start.

• Working Hours:
  
  Monday to Friday 08:00‑16:00
• Pay Rate: £13.02
