Adecco is currently hiring a Payroll Analyst for a growing organization supporting a Canadian workforce across multiple provinces in Milton, ON. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in Canadian payroll, UKG, ADP, payroll compliance, payroll tax regulations, year-end processing, and payroll systems administration.
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for the full-cycle administration of Canadian payroll while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities:
Payroll Administration
Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll using UKG.
Process off-cycle payrolls, bonuses, retroactive payments, and adjustments.
Validate payroll inputs, including new hires, terminations, leaves, deductions, garnishments, and taxable benefits.
Perform payroll reconciliations, audits, and quality checks.
Ensure payroll funding and final payroll approvals are completed accurately.
Compliance & Year-End Processing
Manage year-end payroll activities, including T4s, RL-1s, T4
As, ROEs, WCB/Workers' Compensation reporting, and payroll tax filings.Complete year-end adjustments, including taxable benefits and pension adjustments.
Support payroll compliance across all Canadian jurisdictions, including Quebec.
Respond to payroll-related audits, government inquiries, and compliance requirements.
Systems & Reporting
Maintain employee payroll records and payroll system data.
Prepare payroll reports for Finance, HR, Total Rewards, and audit purposes.
Support payroll system testing, upgrades, and process improvements.
Monitor legislative changes and recommend updates to payroll processes and systems.
Administer bonus and incentive payment programs.
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum 5 years of Canadian payroll experience in a complex environment.
Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation and compliance requirements, including Quebec.
Experience processing full-cycle payroll.
Experience with either UKG or ADP
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Post-secondary education in Payroll, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is considered an asset.
Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) or Payroll Leadership Professional (PLP) designation is considered an asset.
Experience supporting payroll system projects and implementations is considered an asset.
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
