This co-op position within MNP's Assurance & Accounting team is ideal for entry-level candidates aspiring to enhance their financial expertise. You will support tax returns, bookkeeping, and audits while collaborating closely with client engagement teams. This experience is essential for understanding the evolving business and financial reporting landscape that MNP navigates expertly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete personal and corporate tax returns accurately
• Assist with audit and tax engagements for diverse clients
• Prepare government remittance and payroll transactions
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts thoroughly
• Investigate discrepancies and communicate resolutions with management
Requirements:
• Working towards accounting degree or certificate
• Entry-level to 2 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of preparing T4s and T5s preferred
• Basic understanding of accounting principles beneficial
• Experience with accounting software is an asset
