About the Company     Our client is a tile importer. They are looking for a Junior Accountant to join their team!

About the Opportunity
Day-to-day bookkeeping:
Manage AP, bank and credit cards reconciliations
Month-end & year-end: support close processes, reconcile accounts, and prepare accurate reports
Compliance: stay on top of HST, and other filings
Be a reliable point of contact — responding to emails, calls, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks
Payroll & reporting:
Process payroll and payroll-related compliance
Process improvement:
Spot opportunities to make our systems and processes more efficient
Support various teams’ requests as needed: order desk, warehouse

About You
A degree or diploma in accounting/business, or equivalent experience.
1+ years of accounting experience
Strong knowledge of accrual bookkeeping and GL/intercompany reconciliations
Confidence with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is considered a strong asset
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills

Pay Rate
$27 - $29 / hr
