In this role, you will work under the Racing Secretary while handling administrative tasks for the Standard bred Department. Key skills needed include advanced attention to detail and effective communication abilities, essential for liaising with trainers and race officials. Be prepared to manage a range of tasks in a vibrant setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Take horse entries from trainers and owners over the phone
• Act as a primary liaison to horse people and judges
• Manage equipment changes and authorization processes
• Update the Security database and distribute stickers
• Facilitate Winner Circle presentations during races
Requirements:
• Extensive knowledge of horse racing industry
• 1-2 years of relevant office experience
• Proficient communication and organizational skills
• Basic computer skills in a Windows environment
• Ontario Secondary School Diploma
