Early Childhood Assistant

Position: Early Childhood Assistant ON
Become an Early Childhood Assistant at our centre in Milton, ON, working Full-Time with no evening or weekend shifts.

Your role will focus on engaging children and supporting educators.

In this position, you will assist experienced RECE’s in providing instruction and maintaining a safe environment for young learners. Interaction with children is critical to encouraging their involvement in activities, while building strong partnerships with families is essential. You will participate in professional development to enhance your skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with instructional support from RECE’s

• Maintain a child-safe learning environment

• Interact with children to promote activity involvement

• Collaborate effectively with families and staff

• Attend required meetings and training sessions

Requirements:

• High School/Equivalent educational background

• Preferred Early Childhood Assistant Certification

• Must hold Standard First Aid and infant CPR

• Compliance with local health assessment regulations

• Experience in program development preferred
