We are seeking a Technical Engineer to join our client’s engineering team located near Milton, ON .
Pay
Upto 150K
Key Responsibilities
Provide engineering support to sales, production, suppliers, and customers
Review and analyze customer specifications for design and manufacturing
Support design, fabrication, procurement, and production activities
Act as a technical resource for manufacturing and help resolve production issues
Respond promptly to customer inquiries with practical, cost-effective solutions
Work directly with customers and suppliers to understand needs and capabilities
Troubleshoot design, manufacturing, and quality issues
Identify and implement product and process improvements
Maintain accurate technical documentation and records
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges
Prepare technical reports and updates for commercial and management teams
Participate in trade shows and customer-facing activities as needed
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Required Skills
Ability to read and interpret material specifications, electrical schematics, and drawings
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Inventor, or Solid Works
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Hands‑on experience with electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems
Good attention to detail and task ownership
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Comfortable in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
Willingness to learn new systems, tools, and technologies
Qualifications
Degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline
5-10 years of experience in transformer design or related engineering fields
Experience supporting transformers or generators is an asset
Willingness to travel internationally based on business needs
