Position: Tooling Engineer Role with Magna
Drive automotive production excellence as a Tooling Engineer with Magna. This role blends technical expertise with project management, focusing on developing high-quality tooling solutions.

In this position with Cosma, you will partner with Program Managers to oversee tooling for new automotive projects. Drawing from your 5 years of experience, you will guide the tool and die design process using your CAD skills.

Your role involves assessing part feasibilities and ensuring timely delivery of robust tooling solutions for the stamping process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on quotes for part feasibilities and tooling costs

• Ensure compliance with Karmax Heavy Stamping Die Standards

• Schedule tool shop visits to verify production timelines

• Analyze stamping simulations and derive RFQs

• Lead continuous improvement activities and material utilization

Requirements:

• 5+ years' as a Tool and Die Maker

• Strong capabilities in CAD and measurement tools

• Familiarity with GD&T and technical specifications

• Experience with IATF
16949 standards

• Commitment to workplace safety and improvement
