Join our team as a Lean & Quality Intern and play an important role in driving continuous improvement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this position, you will support initiatives focused on process efficiency, waste reduction, problem-solving, and quality excellence while gaining valuable hands‑on experience with Lean principles and real-world operational challenges. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced professionals, contribute to meaningful projects, and learn how continuous improvement directly impacts business success.

Location:
Milton, Ontario, Canada
4 days in person / 1 day remote
Start Date:
September 2026, for a duration of 12 months
Salary: $55,000 annually
Responsibilities
Support lean and quality improvement initiatives within production and support areas.
Update existing documentation to the latest approved formats, templates, and standards.
Create, revise, and publish manufacturing process content in Dozuki and ANVL.
Assist in updating standard work, work instructions, process standards, and related controlled documents.
Conduct time studies to support labor analysis, process improvement, capacity review, and standard work development.
Help maintain and update value stream maps, process flow documentation, and supporting lean standards.
Prepare and organize training materials, operator guidance, and other instructional content for manufacturing teams.
Support audit readiness by ensuring documentation is current, complete, and properly controlled.
Assist with data collection, process observations, and follow-up actions related to continuous improvement projects.
Support5S initiatives and workplace organization projects to improve efficiency, safety, and visual management within production and support areas
Support product inspection activities and assist with gage calibration maintenance.
Qualifications
Education/Certification Requirements
Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering.
Preference will be given to candidates enrolled in a Co-op program and available for a minimum 12-month work term.
Experience and Skills
Knowledge of basic manufacturing operations or prior experience preferred
Basic understanding of lean/quality methodology and practices
Ability to travel to other Parker locations on company business as required.
Excellent verbal and written communication; project management experience preferred.
