Position: Milton Senior Planner for Environmental Projects
Drive responsible environmental planning as a Senior Planner for the Town of Milton. This hybrid role focuses on enhancing the natural heritage through effective project management and consultation.

You will be responsible for guiding environmental and natural heritage assessments while collaborating with various stakeholders. With over seven years of relevant experience, you'll oversee the preparation of critical reports and lead exciting planning initiatives that protect Milton’s natural resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess environmental reports in support of development

• Manage consultant activities related to planning projects

• Conduct research and public meetings for natural heritage

• Provide strategic guidance on environmental policy

• Represent the Town at hearings and public forums

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Planning or related field

• Minimum of seven years in environmental planning roles

• In-depth understanding of applicable environmental laws

• Excellent communication and public relations skills

• Ability to travel between work sites as needed
