Elevate your financial expertise with Definity as a Senior Financial Analyst. This hybrid role focuses on consolidation, reporting, and financial analysis within a collaborative team.
As a key member of Definity's finance team, you will report to the Manager of Regulatory Reporting, ensuring accurate financial reporting across several subsidiaries. Ideal candidates will have advanced Excel skills and a strong understanding of financial reporting, consolidation, and intercompany accounting as part of their 3+ years of progressive experience. This role encourages cross-functional collaboration and innovation in financial practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee monthly consolidation for Westmount Financial Inc.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS 17 and other standards
• Support preparation of Minimum Capital Test documentation
• Prepare month-end journal entries and audits
• Identify process improvement opportunities for efficiency
Requirements:
• University degree in finance or business
• CPA accounting designation or in progress
• Expertise in financial models with Excel
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
