Parking Compliance Officer

Enhance community safety as a Parking Compliance Officer with the Town of Milton. Focus on school-based foot patrols and maintain parking compliance in vibrant neighborhood settings.

This full-time contract role involves patrols, issuing penalty notices, and educating the community about parking regulations. Reporting to the Supervisor, Licensing & Enforcement, you will ensure safe parking environments during school hours. With a focus on visibility and compliance, this position allows you to impact the safety of the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate and identify parking by-law infractions

• Create and update electronic investigation files

• Provide assistance regarding parking regulations

• Patrol and respond to public inquiries and complaints

• Initiate legal proceedings when necessary

Requirements:

• Certificate in Police Studies, Law & Security, or related field

• Minimum two years' experience in regulatory by-law enforcement

• Valid Ontario Driver’s License Class G

• Proven problem-solving skills in customer service

• Knowledge of municipal by-laws and enforcement processes
