The Town of Milton seeks a Compliance Officer responsible for the enforcement of important municipal by-laws, including Parks and Community Standards. This permanent role involves foot and vehicle patrols, as well as direct engagement with residents and businesses. You will play a critical role in upholding community standards and ensuring compliance with local regulations, all while promoting a safe and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide information on municipal by-laws and regulations

• Build relationships through compliance education and outreach

• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols for assigned areas

• Investigate municipal by-law infractions and complaints

• Prepare compliance documentation and enforcement orders

Requirements:

• Post-secondary diploma or degree required

• At least 1 year in an enforcement role

• Certification as a Municipal Law Enforcement Officer

• Class G Ontario Driver's License required

• Satisfactory Criminal Record check necessary
