Municipal Compliance Officer Position

The Town of Milton is hiring a Municipal Law Enforcement Officer on a contract basis. This role encompasses by-law investigations, documentation for compliance, and providing public assistance regarding parking regulations. You will work closely with different municipal entities to uphold the integrity of community standards and engage actively with residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Investigate by-law infractions thoroughly
• Prepare notices and compliance reports
• Patrol areas for parking regulation enforcement
• Support drafting new by-laws and legislation
• Attend hearings to present violations
Requirements:
• At least two years of experience in law enforcement
• Relevant diploma or certificate in Police Studies
• Knowledge of municipal legislation and enforcement
• Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills
• Valid Class G Driver’s License with a good record
