The Pharmacy Assistant role at Rexall involves supporting pharmacists in preparing and distributing prescriptions and ensuring that patient information is accurately documented. You'll monitor inventory and participate in essential tasks to maintain effective pharmacy operations, all while contributing to a connected team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with the preparation and packaging of prescriptions
• Input and evaluate patient prescriptions and documentation
• Conduct inventory checks and monitor expiry dates
• Help manage cashier duties as needed
• Complete third-party documentation and reconciliations
Requirements:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends
• Positive, can-do attitude toward job responsibilities
• Prior pharmacy experience is advantageous
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
