Data Center Technician

Join our team as a Data Center Technician in Milton, Canada! This is a full-time, on-site position focused on supporting critical infrastructure within a leading data center facility.

As a key member of the team, your responsibilities will include installing server and network equipment, performing structured cabling, and executing hardware deployments. Your strong troubleshooting skills and experience will enable you to effectively monitor environmental systems and respond to any incidents that arise. You will also keep accurate documentation as part of your daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain server and network hardware

• Conduct structured cabling for copper and fiber optic

• Perform hardware decommissions and deployments

• Monitor power, security, and cooling systems

• Work with teams to participate in capacity planning

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of data center operations experience

• Strong skills in cabling and problem-solving abilities

• Experience with rack and stack operations

• Familiarity with certifications such as CCNA or CDCP preferred

• Ability to manage physical demands of the role
