Analyst – Final Mile Delivery
OverviewThe Analyst – Final Mile Delivery plays a pivotal role in shaping optimal logistics flow within RONA’s supply chain, providing reporting and recommendations on final‑mile delivery models and cost estimations.
Responsibilities- Analyze shipping estimates vs. actual costs and supply reporting to stakeholders for informed decisions.
- Perform analyses on problems and anomalies reported by operational teams, propose solutions and make corrections.
- Act as a subject matter expert and resource person at head office for the company's support functions.
- Drive compliance with final‑mile carriers through spend analysis to facilitate cost recovery.
- Identify non‑compliant vendors through reporting.
- Provide supply analytics on claim history to drive process improvements, cost efficiency and customer experience.
- Manage logistical decision‑making activities requiring buy‑in from multiple business lines.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders to drive cost‑effective solutions on reverse logistics.
- Develop, implement, maintain, evolve and configure tools to support analysis and decision‑making for logistics flow rules.
- Support initiatives to optimize supply chain operational efficiency, speed to market and customer experience.
- Participate in the documentation and mapping of key processes and develop diagrams of decision‑making processes at the logistics flow level.
- Build relationships and collaborate with multiple teams across locations and departments.
- Produce ad‑hoc analysis and reports for management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain), Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in distribution, logistics or transportation industries, ideally within a retail sector or large national distributor.
- Experience with LTL or large final‑mile logistics.
- Critical thinking, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
- Proactive approach with willingness to challenge existing processes and propose new solutions.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, able to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions in a complex environment.

The salary range for this position is between $62,000 and $82,000 per year.
