We are seeking a procurement professional with experience managing purchasing activities, supplier relationships, purchase orders, inventory requirements, and ERP/MRP systems within a manufacturing environment. Manage daily purchasing activities for ingredients, packaging materials, and production supplies.

Create and maintain purchase orders while ensuring accuracy, pricing, and delivery timelines.

Review MRP reports and production requirements to determine purchasing needs.

Coordinate supplier communication, order confirmations, and delivery schedules.

Source suppliers, request quotations, analyze pricing, and negotiate purchasing terms.

Monitor supplier performance related to cost, quality, and delivery.

Maintain accurate purchasing records, vendor information, and documentation.

Support inventory management activities and inventory accuracy initiatives.

Coordinate warehouse transfers and material availability with internal teams and third-party logistics providers.

Review invoices and resolve receiving discrepancies.

Support supplier compliance documentation, including Certificates of Analysis (COAs).

Work closely with Production, Quality, Warehouse, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.

Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain.

Experience purchasing raw materials, packaging, ingredients, or manufacturing components.

Manufacturing experience required; food manufacturing, CPG, pharmaceutical, or related industries preferred.

Strong understanding of procurement processes and inventory management.

Experience using ERP/MRP systems (Microsoft Dynamics experience preferred).

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Strong negotiation and supplier management abilities.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
