Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm

Position Summary

The Sanitation Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary warehouse and office environment in accordance with company standards for safety, quality, and productivity. This role supports product safety, quality, and legality while contributing to a safe and efficient workplace that delivers value to customers.

Primary Responsibilities

Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently throughout warehouse and office areas.

Follow assigned sanitation logs and requirements consistently.

Use and understand cleaning materials and liquids as directed.

Monitor cleaning supply inventory and communicate reorder needs.

Ensure floors are free of debris and maintain a clean, orderly appearance.

Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety and complies with company standards.

Report any unkempt areas from previous shifts to the supervisor.

Remove snow from designated areas as seasonally required.

If trained, inspect sweeper scrubber equipment before and after use to ensure proper function and appearance.

Identify and report areas of waste that may impact operational flow.

Education and Experience

High school diploma preferred.

Sanitation and janitorial experience preferred.

Skills and Competencies

Ability to read, speak, and understand English to complete assignments.

Adaptability to changing work environments and tasks.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Customer service oriented and strong team player.

If the incumbent resides in the province of Quebec, Functional French (written and spoken) is required.
