Take on a vital role as a General Maintenance Assistant within the Ministry of Education's Provincial Schools. This on-call position involves a variety of maintenance and repair activities at the Milton Campus.

As a General Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of maintenance support tasks at the Ernest

C. Drury School for the Deaf. The role includes executing preventative maintenance, managing minor repairs, and assisting skilled trades as needed. Your multifaceted technical skills will ensure high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC

• Maintain the efficiency of the facility’s swimming pool

• Conduct general upkeep and repairs on buildings and grounds

• Assist in managing summer student work plans

• Ensure all maintenance logs are accurately maintained

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in various trades

• Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems

• Ability to conduct regular maintenance inspections

• Knowledge of safety protocols in maintenance work
