Become a part of the Town of Milton's Operations division as a Park Attendant. This contract role involves maintaining park facilities, engaging with the public, and supporting community events.
We are looking for dedicated individuals to work as Park Attendants until September 30, 2026. You will be responsible for preparing picnic sites, maintaining sports fields, and ensuring cleanliness in public washrooms. Excellent customer service skills are essential, as you’ll be interacting with park users and managing event preparations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and maintain picnic sites and sports fields
• Conduct routine checks and clean washroom facilities
• Change park garbage and collect litter regularly
• Ensure grounds are well-maintained during events
• Operate sports field lights according to schedule
Requirements:
• Secondary School Diploma required
• Valid Ontario “G” Driver’s License
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to perform manual labor, lifting up to 50 pounds
• Experience in park operations preferred
