On-Call Cleaner at Provincial Schools

Take part in maintaining a clean and safe environment at the Provincial & Demonstration Schools Branch located in Milton, Ontario. This temporary on-call Cleaner role emphasizes a high standard of cleaning practices in a school setting.

PDSB is seeking two on-call cleaners who will perform a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure a pristine environment. Tasks include vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting areas throughout the school. You will also need to possess knowledge of cleaning equipment and safety standards while scheduling work effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute daily cleaning tasks including floor maintenance

• Disinfect common areas and washrooms regularly

• Remove snow and ice as necessary from pathways

• Operate various cleaning machines safely

• Manage inventory and delivery of cleaning supplies

Requirements:

• Familiarity with cleaning protocols and materials

• Knowledge of WHMIS safety guidelines

• Good organizational abilities for work scheduling

• Effective communication within a team setting

• Flexibility to work various shifts as required
