Use floor care machines, steam equipment, and sanitation procedures as a part-time Housekeeping Aide at Birkdale Place in Milton.
Cogir Senior Living’s Housekeeping Aide maintains resident apartments and shared spaces across a retirement residence. The work includes carpet and non-carpet floor care, garbage transport, documentation, and assigned cleaning duties. You will help uphold residence standards while working in a position of trust.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform scheduled cleaning and sanitization throughout the residence
- Operate steam cleaning and floor care equipment
- Strip, scrub, spray, and buff carpets and floors
- Transport collected garbage to designated locations
- Attend training and complete other assigned duties
- Standard institutional cleaning knowledge and experience
- Good written and spoken English communication
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to satisfy the role’s physical requirements
- Complete Vulnerable Sector Check within six months
