General Labour Forklift – Continental Shift

Overview

Our client in Acton, Ontario is looking for a hard working General Labourer/Forklift Operator to join their team! This is an exciting opportunity to work at a kiln plant that manufactures various masonry products like concrete and cement. You will primarily be responsible for moving product or mixing product, or cleaning up from these processes.

Shift: Continental days and nights shifts switching every two weeks

Pay: $25/hour

• Help move the skids to clean and then paint the lines
• Operate lift trucks to transport materials throughout the plant.
• Regularly use hand tools such as brooms, shovel, and manual painting equipment, power washer, air tools, power tools, such as drill motor, grinder, shop vacuum
• Perform minor preventative maintenance on equipment and/or partners with maintenance to solve equipment changes and problems
• Sweeping, shoveling, manual painting, equipment cleaning, and wire wheel grinding of steel forms
• Use Forklift to attach bag and place under spout so the mix can pour into bags
