* JOB REQUIREMENTS:

*** Post-secondary education in an automation and robotics related field
* Experience with Ignition development and implementation is an asset
* Experience with human machine interface (HMI) development and implementation is an asset
* Experience with Relational Databases (i.e., Microsoft SQL [MSSQL] Server) is an asset
* Excellent organizational, interpersonal and problem solving skills
* Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Ability to uphold confidentiality
* Ability to work overtime to meet customer needs
*
* JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

*** Assists MES Analysts in MES System based projects
* Helps support middleware applications (IGear, Kepware) in conjunction with the MES
* Supports in data collection techniques that meet or exceed client data traceability and production performance reporting
* Provides recommended solution alternatives in alignment with business objectives
* Development of project requirements, including detailed specs, work estimates, timelines, deliverables and milestones
* Works with other departments to create and collect data in support of KPIs and other key measurements from production using existing data collection systems
* Follows and complies with all Operational Procedures and Policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook, Quality and Environment programs (i.e., IATF
16949, ISO
14001)
* Understands, promote and live by Magna’s philosophies and Employee Charter
