Position: Electrical Tester for Eaton's
Join Eaton in Milton, Ontario, as an Electrical Tester on the Afternoon shift, where precision meets craftsmanship in electrical manufacturing. This role focuses on testing ATS, Panel boards, and ensuring product quality before shipment.
As an Electrical Tester at Eaton, you will perform inspections and electrical functional tests to guarantee that all products meet rigorous quality standards. You'll work from detailed specifications and blueprints, verifying components and sub-assemblies for conformance to safety requirements. Your expertise will contribute significantly to maintaining the integrity of our manufacturing processes and products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect components and sub-assemblies for quality conformance

• Perform electrical functional tests to simulate field conditions

• Ensure proper operation of electrical devices including breakers and meters

• Document and maintain inspection records for all tasks

• Assemble and wire products as needed across various product lines
Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in electrical/electronics

• Minimum 4 years of experience with CSA & UL standards

• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings

• Knowledge of AC and DC power testing impact

• Experience in a fabrication environment preferred
