Dufferin Aggregates Foreman Position

AMAT is seeking a Foreman for its operations at Dufferin Aggregates in Ontario. This full-time role will involve leadership in production and maintenance while promoting a safe working environment.

In the Foreman role, you will guide and support hourly employees in their daily tasks, ensuring compliance with safety legislation and maintaining operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will involve coordinating schedules, managing equipment and inventory, and ensuring production targets are met while supporting site rehabilitation initiatives. Continuous oversight during regulatory visits will also be part of your responsibilities, ensuring adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily production and maintenance processes

• Enforce compliance with Health and Safety policies

• Organize manpower, equipment, and production timelines

• Facilitate maintenance planning and preparation for shutdowns

• Update management and teams on production statuses

Requirements:

• Technical background in aggregate or construction operations

• 1-3 years of leadership experience

• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office; familiarity with SAP is beneficial

• Willingness to work on varied shifts including weekends

• College diploma or related experience preferred
