Drive innovation in desserts and baked goods as a Food Product Developer in Milton, Ontario. This role focuses on product development for private label retail, based on your expertise in baked goods.
Join a full-time, on-site team where you will report to the Product Development Manager. With 5-15 years of experience in food manufacturing, you'll develop new recipes, maintain specifications, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Your role will also involve collaborating with various departments to ensure successful product launches and improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and redesign frozen baked goods for retail
• Maintain product specifications and standard operating procedures
• Prepare product costing and nutrition tables
• Plan and lead plant trials for new launches
• Conduct market research to inform strategies
Requirements:
• BSc in Food Science or a related field
• 5-15 years in Product Development or R&D
• Experience with baked goods in manufacturing
• Strong English communication skills
• Must live within 40 minutes of Milton
