Acrylic Paint Technician

Position: Acrylic Paint Technician Role
Join our team as a Paint Technician, specializing in acrylic polymer production and color matching. Use your skills in blending, mixing, and quality control for exceptional paint products.

In this role, you will work with liquid and solid raw materials to create paint batches that meet customer specifications. Your expertise in color matching, using both the eye and software, will ensure high-quality results. Familiarity with blending equipment is crucial as you operate various machinery and maintain laboratory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate scales and mixing equipment for paint production

• Match custom colors using swatches and color software

• Prepare and package finished paint products accurately

• Conduct QC checks on wet and dry products

• Liaise with auditors for compliance and safety standards

Requirements:

• Technical Diploma in Chemistry or related field

• Forklift experience required for material handling

• Strong eye for color matching and quality control

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and operate equipment

• Previous experience with solvent-based products an asset
