Mechanical Assembler

In this entry-level position at Randstad, you will fit and mount components in steel switchboard structures as part of a production crew. Your duties include building large switchboard structures, using power tools effectively, and ensuring quality assembly processes. You'll receive training during the day shift before transitioning to afternoon shifts when capable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble large switchboard structures following engineering drawings

• Mount and brace bus, risers, and bus supports accurately

• Operate power tools and fabrication equipment safely

• Inspect materials for conformance to standards

• Repair issues found during inspection stages

Requirements:

• Minimum two years of mechanical assembly experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Able to read engineering models and drawings

• Excellent safety and quality commitment

• Legally eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship
