Vertical Mill Machinist

You will play a crucial role in setting up machines, documenting setups, adjusting programs, and ensuring high product quality. Safety and cleanliness will also be high on your priority list as you maintain a well-functioning workspace.

• Create and manage set up sheets for recent manufacturing requirements
• Set machines up correctly and monitor their performance
• Run appropriate programs and modify as necessary for quality
• Efficiently load and unload machining products
• Measure and check parts for precision adherence

• A high school diploma or equivalent experience is mandatory
• 3+ years in heavy metal machining environments required
• Certification as a machine operator or equivalent experience
• Direct experience with vertical lathes and boring mills
• Ability to lift weights up to 50 pounds
