Reporting to the Production Manager - Custom Switchboards, the Mechanical Assembler role requires candidates to have solid mechanical assembly expertise, particularly with power tools and torque applications. You'll be constructing switchboard components, modifying parts as needed, and ensuring adherence to quality standards while working in a safety-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Construct large switchboard structures following engineering plans

• Utilize power tools for assembly and modification tasks

• Inspect parts for quality and compliance

• Raise any design issues through proper channels

• Perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and awkward positions

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience

• Minimum of 12 months experience in mechanical assembly

• Competency with torque tools essential

• Legally authorized to work in Canada

• Proficient in English communication
