Position: University of Waterloo Industry Engagement Role
Foster employer relationships as the Industry Engagement Coordinator at the University of Waterloo. This full-time position focuses on event planning, outreach, and generating employer leads within the Co-operative and Experiential Education team.

In this temporary role, you will be pivotal in driving employer engagement and generating leads to boost co-op job development. Your tasks will include managing events, collaborating with various departments, conducting research, and ensuring materials are stocked and organized. This position provides an excellent opportunity to influence employer relationships and outreach in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute targeted event plans for employer engagement

• Manage logistics for industry events, including team scheduling

• Research and analyze lead generation opportunities

• Liaise with external vendors for promotional materials

• Supervise co-op student and support outreach initiatives

Requirements:

• University undergraduate degree preferred

• 3-5 years in marketing and communications or event management

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Experience with CRM systems is an asset

• Ability to work collaboratively in team settings
