As an On-Call General Duty Nurse, your role is crucial in addressing the health care needs of students with various exceptionalities. You’ll assess student conditions, implement treatment plans, and administer medications while maintaining accurate health records. Your expertise will help create a supportive environment for special education students enrolled at our school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess conditions of multi-exceptional students

• Implement and monitor medical treatment plans

• Administer medications as prescribed

• Maintain detailed health records accurately

• Provide essential health care information and resources

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse registration in Ontario

• Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures

• Proficiency in American Sign Language or willingness to learn

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Ability to lift and assist students safely
