Position: Temporary Full-Time Registered Nurse

This role involves working rotating 12-hour shifts within the MD Med/Surg IP department for an approximate one-year contract. Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate exceptional clinical skills and a commitment to teamwork. You will engage in continuous learning while delivering evidence-informed nursing care to an acute patient demographic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, evidence-informed nursing care

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and interventions

• Administer medications and IVs effectively

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes

• Maintain meticulous patient documentation and communication

Requirements:

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Recent medical/surgical experience required

• Telemetry and critical care experience preferred

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
