Take your nursing career to the next level with Halton Healthcare as a Registered Practical Nurse in the 2 North Unit. This temporary full-time role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
In this role, you will be at the forefront of nursing, responsible for assessing and managing patient care processes while ensuring high standards are met. You will coordinate care, educate patients and families, and work closely with healthcare professionals to achieve desired health outcomes. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the exemplary care culture at Halton Healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver direct patient care and support nursing processes
• Evaluate and document patient care plans
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Engage in teamwork to enhance patient experiences
• Assist in patient transitions through the healthcare continuum
Requirements:
• Valid registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• BCLS Certification required upon hire
• Recent acute medical nursing experience preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Capability for physical demands, including lifting
