Bring your nursing expertise to Extendicare as a Full Time Registered Practical Nurse on the night shift. Deliver patient-oriented, goal-directed care while working as part of a collaborative team.
In this permanent position, you will report to the Director of Care, providing essential care as outlined by provincial standards. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct resident assessments and update care plans
• Administer medications and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for care coordination
• Respond to medical emergencies, providing first aid
• Facilitate family education and involvement in care
Requirements:
• Current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Experience in long-term care preferred
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required
• Vulnerable Sector Check completion required
