As a Personal Support Worker at Pioneer Ridge, you’ll be part of a skilled and compassionate team of over 200 staff supporting 150 residents in a warm, home-like setting. In this role, you’ll provide individualized care in accordance with professional and legislative standards, and Pioneer Ridge’s vision, mission, and caring philosophy. You’ll participate as a member of a multidisciplinary care team and have key accountabilities such as:

• Provide basic nursing care based on each resident’s developed care plan and within the framework of an established nursing program.
• Encourage and support resident participation in activities of daily living.
• Provide input into the development and maintenance of resident care plans and participate in resident care conferences.
• Report changes in residents’ physical and mental condition to the Registered Nurse and document as per policy.
• Participate in maintaining a safe environment for residents and staff, demonstrating an appropriate response to emergencies and safety procedures.
