Fresh Start Foods Canada Ltd. is searching for a dedicated Quality Assurance Technician for a full-time, 6-month contract. This role operates in a dynamic team environment focused on promoting food safety and quality assurance. You will conduct daily inspections, evaluate products, and ensure adherence to health standards while training staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and enhance the Quality Assurance Program
• Perform daily quality inspections and product evaluations
• Ensure compliance with cleaning procedures and micro-testing
• Conduct internal audits and inspections, such as GMP
• Communicate non-conformances to relevant departments
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s diploma in Food Science or QA
• Working knowledge of SQF/BRC
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and computer skills
• Leadership in a fast-paced, changing environment
