As a Paid-Per-Call Firefighter, you will respond to a variety of emergency situations, operate firefighting vehicles, and work as a vital team member in protecting life and property. Recruit training ensures you’re well-prepared for all responsibilities, and ongoing development is emphasized.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to emergency incidents promptly and effectively
• Safely operate firefighting equipment during operations
• Engage in recruit and ongoing training initiatives
• Drive department vehicles after achieving the necessary qualifications
• Contribute to public safety education and community events
Requirements:
• Completion of Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Ontario Glass “G” Driver’s License is required
• Commitment to pursue a DZ Driver’s License
• Ability to perform physical tasks under pressure
• Align with core values of teamwork and integrity
