Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm or 3:30pm - 12:00am

Salary:
$22.00 - $24.00 / hour (based on experience) + full benefits from day-1 of hire

Key Responsibilities:

Operate 10,000lb capacity counterbalance forklifts indoors and outdoors throughout the lumber yard.

Load/unload materials from flatbeds, trucks, and trailers and strap materials down.

Pick, pack, replenish, and do inventory counts as required.

Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report back to Operations Manager.

Use straps, fork extenders, and clamp attachments as needed.

Complete general labour tasks often and lift up to 50lbs.

Use a RF Scanner, pick sheet, and radio throughout the shift.

Perform other tasks as assigned around the warehouse and yard.

Candidate

Qualifications:

Valid Counterbalance forklift license (in-house or 3rd party).

Long term (3-5 years) experience in forklift operator role required with preference given to candidates with experience working outdoors.

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs throughout a shift.

Safety and detail-oriented with a positive attitude.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Willing to provide a Criminal Record Search.

Own vehicle for commute to the worksite.
