Take on the full-time role of Customs Specialist at DSV in Milton, Yukon Court, focusing on customs compliance and handling a variety of shipments. This is your opportunity to join a leading logistics provider.
In this position, your main duties will include the setup and release of shipments in accordance with CBSA expectations, as well as maintaining effective communications with clients. Your experience in freight forwarding and customs will be critical to managing complex shipments and ensuring process improvements are implemented efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle the setup and onboarding of cargo shipments
• Provide tracking and updates for clients on shipments
• Process accounting with CBSA for assigned accounts
• Organize payments for associated transportation services
• Implement resolution strategies for special handling needs
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of customs brokerage experience
• Working toward Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) designation
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
