As a shipping and receiving associate at Groeneveld-BEKA, a subsidiary of Timken, you will handle dock operations including picking, packing, and verifying shipments. The role requires compliance with safety standards, communication with internal teams, and maintaining inventory accuracy through organizing received materials and logging shipments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and pack shipments for safe conveyance
• Verify incoming materials against packing slips
• Unload and stock materials in their assigned locations
• Maintain dock safety and quality control standards
• Operate required equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
Requirements:
• Valid forklift license and high school diploma
• 3-5 years of shipping/receiving experience
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of SAP and inventory practices
• Ability to lift heavy boxes (up to 50 lbs)
