Material Handler
The Material Handler accurately picks and packs orders, operates forklifts, and prepares outbound shipments while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. This role handles both large items and small parts, supports shipping and receiving activities, and works independently within a small, collaborative team.
Schedule
Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM
About the Role
We're looking for a reliable Material Handler to join our warehouse team. In this role, you'll pick and pack orders, operate forklifts, assist with shipping and receiving, and help keep the warehouse safe and organized.
Responsibilities
Pick and pack orders accurately
Operate counterbalance and reach forklifts
Load and unload trucks
Wrap and prepare pallets for shipment
Use RF scanners to track inventory
Support shipping and receiving activities
Lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Work independently and as part of a team
Requirements
3-5 years of warehouse experience
Forklift experience (counterbalance and reach)
Shipping and receiving experience
Order picking and packing experience
Experience using RF scanners
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Strong attention to detail
Reliable and self-motivated
Able to work with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
Valid forklift certification
Manufacturing environment experience
Experience using Epicor or similar ERP/WMS systems

You’ll work in a warehouse setting using forklifts, RF scanners, and shipping equipment. This is an active role that involves walking, standing, lifting, and material handling throughout the day.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milton, ON.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Milton,ON.
