Position OverviewThe Landscape Account Manager is responsible for overseeing all operations within the Residential Maintenance Division while ensuring exceptional service delivery, strong client relationships, and operational efficiency. This role combines customer management, team leadership, and horticultural knowledge to support high-quality residential landscape maintenance.
Key Responsibilities Division & Team Management- Oversee day-to-day operations within the Residential Maintenance Division.
- Conduct personnel-related activities including staff evaluations, identifying training and development needs, and administering disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to ensure proposals and job budgets meet profitability and performance expectations.
- Develop and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with residential clients.
- Serve as the single point of contact for your assigned clients, ensuring timely resolution of concerns across all operating groups.
- Attend site visits with clients to verify that quality and service expectations are met.
- Increase customer density and retention within your assigned territory, working with leadership to achieve an 80% retention goal.
- Follow up with clients who have outstanding balances as needed.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of all service lines, including:
- Mowing
- Turf management
- General maintenance
- Irrigation
- Proactively educate clients on opportunities to enhance their landscape or address issues using available services and solutions.
- Identify common landscape challenges such as diseases and pests, and coordinate appropriate treatments.
- Seek opportunities to cross‑sell services that align with client needs.
- Prepare and submit proposals aligned with company profitability standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information in the company’s system of record.
- Represent the company at community events or networking groups.
- Attend or facilitate public presentations as needed.
- Stay informed on current trends, best practices, and new products in the landscape industry.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in account management, sales, or customer service within the landscaping industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong work ethic and a client-focused attitude.
