Civil CAD Technician

• Perform CAD Drafting while utilizing survey field data.
• Prepare Land Development drawings (grading, utility, and SWM/E&S plans).
• Prepare various forms of site/civil details & exhibits.
• Provide office support; this includes performing area, slope, and volume computations.
• Ensure scheduling and productivity objectives are achieved.
• Perform field work on an as‑needed basis; this includes observing construction and assisting Surveyors.
• Additional duties may be assigned, as needed.

• High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• 2+ years of professional experience working in Civil Design and/or Civil Drafting.

This person may be expected to work in the field, as‑needed, so they will be required to possess a Valid Driver’s License.

• Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering, Design Technology, or a related technical field of study is a plus.
• Proficiency with engineering / CADD tools; experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred.
• Proficiency on standard Microsoft Office software applications.
• Proven ability to utilize technical mathematics.
• Proven ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Proven ability to work in a self‑motivated manner while effectively multi‑tasking and prioritizing multiple assignments.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written); proven active‑listening skills is a plus.
