Pay Range

$28.00 per hour

• Previous experience operating heavy construction equipment required.
• Demonstrated proficiency operating one or more types of heavy equipment.
• Experience with excavation, grading, trenching, and construction site preparation.
• Knowledge of equipment safety procedures and jobsite hazards.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with supervisors and ground crews.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation to the jobsite in Milton, FL.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and dependable attendance.

• Experience operating excavators, loaders, bulldozers, or backhoes.
• Commercial or industrial construction experience.
• Ability to read grade stakes and basic site plans.
• Experience working around underground utilities.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience with GPS-guided grading equipment.

This position involves outdoor construction work, operating heavy machinery, and working around active construction crews. Candidates must follow all equipment safety procedures and be comfortable working in physically demanding environments.

• Safely operate heavy construction equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, front-end loaders, backhoes, and skid steers, as assigned.
• Perform excavation, trenching, grading, back filling, and site preparation.
• Load, move, and distribute dirt, gravel, sand, and other construction materials.
• Assist with preparing foundations, access roads, and construction work areas.
• Perform daily pre-operation inspections and report equipment defects or mechanical issues.
• Follow construction plans, grade stakes, and supervisor instructions.
• Work safely around underground utilities, structures, and other personnel.
• Coordinate with ground crews and spotters during equipment operation.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform basic preventive maintenance as authorized.
• Follow OSHA regulations and all established jobsite safety procedures.
• Assist with general construction duties when equipment operation is not required.
